Mendix headquarters in Madrid will host next May 9th at 10:30 am an event focused on giving visibility to how low-code/no-code rapid development tools help to reduce cost and time in software development.
During the day, which will be face-to-face, real experiences will be presented in which the protagonists will share the keys and challenges to be overcome to achieve success in each project and realize their full potential. It is believed that with Low-Code/ No-Code almost anyone, even with minimal or no programming knowledge, would be able to develop software. The conference will demonstrate that it is possible.
Organized by Devol and Mendix-Siemens, and with the collaboration of GAIA (Basque Cluster of Knowledge Industries and Applied Technology), QDQMedia and Absentix, the meeting aims to contribute to dispel the doubts and reticence that Low-Code/No-code platforms and developments arouse.
The conference will present how it is possible to increase productivity and efficiency in software and application development, and how savings of 70% in programming time can be achieved. Case studies will give a reality check and allow attendees to get a better idea of how far this technology has already reached.
The day will start with a presentation of the infinite possibilities of the platform by Gabriela Zornoza, Sales Executive for Spain and Portugal at Mendix, followed by Eusebio Iribarren, CIO of QDQMedia, who will present the criteria to be considered when implementing a Low-Code platform. The success stories will be followed by Íñigo Garatxena, CEO of Absentix, who will talk about his experience in the creation of a platform for the control of absenteeism with Mendix technology. Sonia Villa from Devol will share how Low-Code ended up in Azoka, an application focused on the agricultural sector. Jose Maria Reaño from Devol will close the event with a case study on the integration of two disruptive and, at the same time, complementary technologies: Low Code and RPA, for business process automation.
