On May 29, at 11:00 am, at the ICAI headquarters in Madrid, the conference Innovation and technology for healthcare, beyond AI, will be held. At the meeting, professionals from the fields of healthcare, innovation and business will come together to show how they can contribute together to a better society.
During the day, which will be attended in person, the experiences of a dozen experts will be presented in two round tables, where they will share the keys and challenges to be overcome to make health a relevant area in a modern society.
Organized by Devol RPA and Idrus soluciones e innovación, and with the collaboration of Inithealth (Grupo Init) and the Colegio y Asociación Nacional de Ingenieros del ICAI, the conference will present real innovative and technological experiences, while trying to glimpse the exciting future that both innovation and technology propose for the world of healthcare, far beyond the current challenge of exploiting the full potential of Artificial Intelligence.
After the welcome by Iñigo Sanz Fernández, Professor and Member of ICAI and Business Development Director of Iberospec Environmental Technologies, the day will start with the first of the round tables, under the title “Technology for health”. This first round table, which will be moderated by Ángel Vélez, CEO of Devol RPA, will include the participation of Juan Carlos Santamaría, Director of communication at Inithealth (Init Group) and top health voice; Isaac Arias Montañana, Deputy Director of Viamed’s corporate center area; Antonio Muiña Merino, Director of care management and digital transformation at Cigna Healthcare; Carlos Recio, Manager of Idrus soluciones e innovación; and Elena Torrente, Digital health director at DKV Group.
After the first roundtable, the second will begin under the title “Health beyond AI” and moderated by Gonzalo López Rodríguez, Business developer manager for digital health & biomedical technologies at Vicomtech and co-founder of Health 2.0 Basque. This second round table will include the participation of Iñigo Garatxena, CEO of Absentix; Manuel Vázquez, Director of data and innovation at Sanitas; Pedro Díaz Yuste, General Manager of Savia (Mapfre); Carlos Ansareo, expert in innovation and intrapreneurship; Carlos Battyan, Technological consultant expert in healthcare and member of the ICT cluster of Cantabria; and Adrián Gómez-Aleixandre Cabezón, Deputy Director of the engineering and procurement department of Viamed’s northern area.
At the end of this second round table there will be a space for networking and exchange of ideas.
